Lucy Rice

Lucy came into our lives 11 years ago, and we had no idea how much our lives would change. She was a little beacon of love that followed us every step of the day. She was sweet, silly, smart and the most snuggly girl in the entire world. She was our girl and we were hers. She was our soul dog, and made our years with her the best years of our lives. She made our home feel alive, and our lives whole.

Lucy loved being out with her people, especially at the beach. She loved other animals, her stuffed duck, soft blankets, and being sung to by Mom. She was always happy as long as family was near. A day will never go by that we will not feel the emptiness of losing her, but we will feel forever fortunate that the universe allowed us to be her family. We love you always, our best girl, Lucy 💜
