Max was truly a once in a lifetime dog. A mix of German shepherd and husky, he was surely a crazy puppy but a total gentleman in his later years. Sometimes we thought he was a lab in disguise the way he enjoyed swimming so much. He also loved cold weather and was very vocal- I think that’s the husky part! He helped us raise our twin nieces and was so protective ;yet so gentle and patient. Due to his severe diabetes his body just couldn’t keep up anymore. We spent 9 and a half years with our soul dog.

This kind of heart break can really be overwhelming, yet we found so much comfort in the paw and nose prints we received of our boy. We just know he was in the best hands. Thank you all so much ❤️
